Class of 2021 – South West Collie Graduation

The  has started off 2022 with the Graduation Ceremony of our inaugural Southwest Collie Class of 2021!

The Collie pilot Civil and Mining Academy commenced in July 2021 and the students successfully completed their Certificate II in Civil Construction, within an intense six-month course outline.

Huge congratulations to our students and training team, Robyn Graham and Gareth Brown who deserve acknowledgement for their outstanding commitment, efforts, and tireless dedication to achieve this result. What has been accomplished is an outstanding representation of our organisation’s ability to thrive under pressure.

Our not-for-profit charity cannot continue to change lives and provide jobs for our graduates without the support and shared vision of both industry and education departments underpinning our Civil and Mining Academies.

Thank you to Ms. Jodie Hanns MLA, Collie-Preston for delivering an inspirational speech and assisting our Chairman and founder, Dr. Jim Giumelli in presenting our graduates with their well-earned certificates. The Construction Training Fund‘s David Cunningham, presented our CTF Excellence award winner, Paige Ward for her perseverance and work ethic to succeed in the Civil and Mining industries.

We wish to recognise the following employers, donors, sponsors, schools, and government bodies for their unwavering alignment to the success of our students and our Civil and Mining Academy program.
