Our Model

                        How We Support Student Growth

We welcome students from a wide range of backgrounds and tailor our approach to support their individual development. Our training team build strong connections with students to foster both personal and professional growth.

We provide practical support, including:

  • Transport assistance, such as bus services to and from several train stations for students without access to a vehicle
  • Support in obtaining a driver’s licence, helping students become qualified to operate machinery
  • Access to food and essential support for students facing disadvantage

No matter the challenge, we are committed to supporting our students in overcoming barriers and achieving their goals.

                                Support and Wellbeing

We recognise that some students may face challenges related to disadvantage, disengagement, or difficult personal circumstances.

Our team is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment, working closely with each student to address their individual needs.

We aim to equip students not only with practical skills, but also with the resilience and behaviours required to gain and sustain meaningful employment.

What We Expect from Our Students

Our training team guide students in developing the workplace behaviours and attitudes needed for long-term successes. Students gain nationally recognised qualifications and machine tickets, demonstrating core behaviours essential to completing the program and maintaining employment. We focus on building seven key workplace behaviours that underpin employability, personal growth and career progression.

                        Workplace Behaviours for Success

Our program emphasises the development of strong workplace behaviours, personal and social responsibility through our seven core behaviours.

Students are supported to:

  • Communicate respectfully with the training team and colleagues
  • Demonstrate professionalism and accountability in our simulated workplace environment
  • Build confidence in interviews and professional interactions
  • Express concerns and seek support in a constructive manner

By developing these skills, students are better prepared to succeed in the workplace and contribute positively to their teams.

Pathway to Industry

Employed Students

Over 500 students have graduated from Motivation Foundation with many more securing industry based employment prior to completion. Over 90% of graduates have secured employment within 6 months of completing the course with a significant number of students going on to complete an apprenticeship.  With over 30 companies such as Ertech, Georgiou and Main Roads Western Australia employing our graduates, opportunities are available for students who are willing to put in the hard work and are seeking a rewarding industry career.

Supporting Students

Motivation Foundation removes any barriers that sit between our students and their success. Such as assistance with driver’s licenses, transport, and mentoring.

Our students have difficulties, and we understand that. As a non-profit foundation, we accept donations to help change the life trajectory for our graduates.

If you would like to donate, you can make a difference for one young Western Australian by heading to the donate page.

Our courses run over 1 or 2 years, with students enrolling in two qualifications – civil construction and resources and infrastructure, along with completing stand alone units including machine tickets. Completing these courses assist students in securing employment in the future.
