Operator

Operator

Operators and an important part of the industry. Each operator specializes in a specific field. Whether that's managing fuel or working on machines.

In mining, there are many operators and through the Motivation Foundation, you can easily gain the skills and be on the go within 2 years to work as an operator in the mines or the city.

The average pay of operators ranges from $100,000 to $160,000.

labourer

Labourer

Though the term Labourer is vague it is an actual job in the construction industry. This job is the most common and easy to get.

Being a labourer means doing more manual tasks than operating machines. This means that most of the work would be digging and assessing but you get paid $60,000 to $70,000 a year.

Most students who graduate from the academy proceed into labourer roles and slowly rise through the ranks.

Apprentice

Apprentice

Companies send representatives to our site for job seeking and to assess our work. However, sometimes these companies can catch sight of a worker that they can give experience to. These students when they graduate become apprentices and they take on another certificate or learn a specific trade.

Apprentices get paid approximately $50,000 in the first year. The salary can rise, and you may get a job that pays more as well.

This is a challenging job however that isn't to say that your workforce won't upgrade your work to become an apprentice later.

Roller

Rollers are heavy compacting wheels used to make flat surfaces. You can get many variants of roller. It is essential to learn how to use these in civil construction as they are used to make flat areas for buildings and roads.

Grader

Graders are used to fine grate the ground and are one of the more complex machines to learn. They use a scraper to flatten the surface to create a fine or rough surface for construction.

Excavator

Excavators are one of the most used machines in construction, they dig out areas to supply dirt or create trenches for piping.
