Ertech Honoured for Excellence in Vocational Training by Civil Contractors Federation at the Industry Training Awards

Ertech was presented with the prestigious “Training Employer of the Year” Award by Braden Lang of the Construction Training Fund at this year’s Industry Training Awards at Optus Stadium.

The “Training Employer of the Year” is awarded by the Civil Contractors Federation in acknowledgement of outstanding excellence for Civil Employers supporting tertiary education and apprenticeships in the civil construction industry.

Ertech through investment in the Ertech Construction Academy and quality partnership with Australian Training Management and the Motivation Foundation, have also recently supported Jess Haydon to achieve the 2018 Beazley Medal for Excellence in VET

The Foundation provides sponsored students in Years 11 and 12 the opportunity to achieve this nationally-recognised qualification through on-site training and workplace experience while still at high school. Successful applicants are instructed by approved trainers through Australian Training Management and supported by Industry.

The Ertech Construction Academy has been successful in finding 140 young West Australians employment pathways in the Civil Construction Industry. The 2018 Graduates achieved 100% Completion rate and 100% employment rate within industry.

The Motivation Foundation advances education through providing VET scholarships for young people from diverse backgrounds and links graduates with industry partners to help open doors to employment.

McGowan Government funding supports Collie Academy

On Monday 5 September 2022, Motivation CEO Timothy Hunter was pleased to meet Premier Mark McGowan along with our students in Collie. The McGowan Government continues to set Collie up for a strong future, with a $1 million investment towards the expansion of Technology Training Centre (WTTC), to create new training and job opportunities.
